We guaranteed 6,498 real impressions. It delivered 9,024.
This is the real data from a sponsorship campaign managed by our Premium Service for a real estate brand, published in two newsletters selected specifically for its audience.
Why the brand chose newsletter sponsorship
The brand helps people buy homes, and wanted visibility in front of an audience with real purchasing power and an investor mindset — not just anyone. It hired our Premium Service, so we ran the whole process end to end:
- We researched which newsletters in our directory fit the audience the brand was after, rather than pitching the ones with the highest send volume.
- We negotiated placement and pricing directly with each of those newsletters, so the brand never had to deal with them itself.
- We advised on the ad brief: when a brand isn’t sure what copy to use, or even how to design the banner, we help define it so it fits the tone of each newsletter.
- We coordinated the publishing schedule and followed up throughout the campaign.
- At the end, we delivered a single consolidated results report.
All the brand had to do was send us its goal and approve the proposal.
As with every Premium Service campaign, our proposal guaranteed a minimum number of real impressions — not total subscribers, not “potential reach,” but people who actually opened the email. In this case, 6,498 guaranteed real impressions.
Where we published the sponsorship
We chose two newsletters with complementary audiences, both a good fit for a real estate brand: people who already think about money, wealth, and big decisions.
- A business, entrepreneurship and finance newsletter, where the ad ran in the top featured spot (clickable banner + text) across two editions.
- A finance and investment newsletter, where the ad was a 4:1 banner with text right after the intro, in one edition.
Three editions in total, published between June 26 and July 7, 2026.
Sponsorship results: real vs. guaranteed impressions
| Metric | Figure |
|---|---|
| Guaranteed real impressions | 6,498 |
| Actual real impressions | 9,024 |
| Over-delivery | +39% |
| Total sends (3 editions) | 24,653 |
| Open rate per edition | between 30% and 44.7% |
| Clicks generated to the brand’s own channels | 309 |
The number we like showing off the most is the over-delivery: we delivered 39% more real impressions than we guaranteed in the proposal.
That wasn’t luck: in the Premium Service, the guaranteed minimum is a commitment, not an optimistic estimate. If a campaign’s initial forecast falls short of the agreed minimum, we add extra editions or newsletters until it’s met. We never close a campaign with fewer impressions than promised. In this case, the initial proposal already beat the minimum without needing to be extended.
The 309 clicks were spread across several of the brand’s own channels, not just its website — the brand wanted to drive traffic to more than one destination at once, and the clicks reflect exactly that: traffic spread across the channels it wanted to grow.
Why this sponsorship campaign worked
Three reasons, all avoidable if you don’t pay attention to them:
- Ad placement. In both newsletters, the ad sat in a featured spot — not buried at the bottom of the email, where no one scrolls to.
- The combined format. Clickable banner plus explanatory text, not just an image. The text gives context, the banner gives the easy click.
- Audience fit. We chose newsletters that already talk about money, business and investing — not just any newsletter with high send volume, but audiences already thinking about the kind of decisions the brand wanted to influence.
Benefits of newsletter sponsorship through the Premium Service
This case isn’t the exception — it’s the reason the Premium Service exists. When we manage a campaign end to end, the brand gets several things it wouldn’t get by booking newsletters on its own:
- Guaranteed real impressions, no excuses. If the initial forecast falls short of the agreed minimum, we extend the campaign until it’s met. We never close one with fewer impressions than promised.
- Selection based on audience fit, not volume. We choose newsletters whose audience matches the brand’s goal, not the ones with the most subscribers.
- Negotiation on the brand’s behalf. We talk directly to each newsletter — the brand never has to manage a conversation or negotiation itself.
- Guidance on the brief, including ad copy and banner design, whenever the brand hasn’t defined it yet.
- Formats built to convert, combining banner and text in whatever position performs best in each newsletter.
- One consolidated report with real metrics at the end, so the brand knows exactly what it got for its investment.
